Welcome back to another Roadmap update, where we’ll be taking a look at our upcoming Updates and help shed some light on a few Community hot topics.
For over a year, the team has been working hard to bring something game changing to the Asphalt series... but you’ll have to wait until next week to find out all about it!
Before our grand reveal next Tuesday, March 26th, let’s take some time to have a look at our upcoming updates.
We have 2 more updates planned for the second quarter of this year, which will focus on delivering the seasonal content and a few fixes to the game.
This period is the calm before the storm, as the team will be focusing efforts on our grand project... No spoilers, sorry!
Although we won’t be introducing any new features in these next 2 updates, we will still be expanding and tweaking some of our existing features.
Overclock
After introducing Overclock last update, we’ve been paying close attention to our community feedback.
It’s been very interesting to see how you’ve all been playing with the new feature and your thoughts on how it should be applied in-game. One of the key parts we’ve been paying special attention to are your thoughts on the cars available for Overclock each season.
The team will be working on reworking the list of cars available for Overclock in future seasons to help provide a more interesting selection, that will help less popular cars become more competitive in future events, hopefully providing some interesting choices for you to overclock.
We’ll keep an eye on your feedback and continue to adapt it in upcoming seasons.
The team has also re-worked Overclock timers.
From the next update onwards, the duration of the Overclock will start as soon as you activate it, instead of activating just for the rest of the calendar day. You’ll also find we’ve added more durations for you to choose from when activating Overclock for a specific car. Let us know what you think!
Gameloft ID
After our successful launch of the windows version, we’ll be expanding the Gameloft ID for our mobile players.
In the upcoming updates, Android and iOS users will also be able to access Gameloft ID, a new login system that will work across all our Gameloft titles and allow you to also access your account easily across different platforms.
Keep an eye out for upcoming patch notes for more news.
New Seasons
Our upcoming Seasons will be packed with events, with a few fan favorites coming up, such as Easter and April Fools.
Again, no spoilers, but we recommend following our socials if you don’t already, as there might be a few surprises popping up for all to enjoy.
We also have a few more tricks up our sleeves, as we’ll be bringing more active collaborations to our events! Although we can’t reveal who we’ll be partnering with directly yet, all we can tease is we’ll be bringing a touch of real-life racing and a bit of anime into our upcoming events.
Stay tuned for more news!
Nintendo Switch is catching up!
The Nintendo Switch fans will be in for a treat these upcoming months, as we’ll be ramping things up over the next 3 months.
Of our upcoming “grand reveal”, we want to make sure all our platforms are at a similar starting point, which means a bunch of new cars will be trickling their way through events on the Nintendo Switch platform.
You can expect any car currently available on our mobile and windows versions to be making their appearance very soon on Nintendo Switch!
These are the highlights of what you can expect from our next 2 updates.
However, if you want to find out what other exciting things we’re currently working on... then you won’t have to wait too long.
Join us on Tuesday, March 26th, 12:00 CET for our grand reveal!
