A new Season is upon us with a very special guest: Sonic the Hedgehog! 

He won't be alone, as his usual entourage will be joining him as well! So let's not daddle and get straight to it, as just like the season... we gotta go fast! 

Racing Around the World 

Our star of the Season features the fastest beings in the planet! Sonic is joined by the entire crew including Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Dr.Eggman and the playful Chao. 

Sonic will be taking over our Spotlight and will bring a set of new Decals, one for each character, for our featured cars and introducing the all-new SSC Ultimate Aero TT! 

LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie 

A brand new LEGO Technic car is here for you to build. Featured in this season's GP, fans will get a chance to add a new LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie to their collection and really build up their garage.

Formula E 

The Formula E Championship has already started and it's making a pit stop in Asphalt Legends Unite! We'll be featuring this competition's car, the Formula E Gen 3 Evo, along with 4 Decals replicating the real liveries for the Andretti, Jaguar, Tag Heuer Porsche and Nissan Teams! Compete in your favorite team's colors and the fastest team will actually unlock that Decal for FREE for EVERYONE!

Epic Import Part Wildcards 

To further help you max out your favorite cards, we're introducing Epic Import Part Wildcards! The new Wildcards will allow you to upgrade any car from a specific class, as Epic Import Part Wildcards will not be car specific and have a variant for each class, D,C,B,A and S. 

You'll be able to earn them in Multiplayer Ranked rewards or purchase them from select bundles in store. 

Green Streak Mode 

A new Multiplayer mode is also included in this update. Nitro will become the great equalizer, offering the most contested of modes as the closer you are to the head of the race, the less nitro boost you'll receive from stunts, drifting or nitro bottles you pick up. Those coming in last will receive the full Nitro effect, helping them get back into the race and making for one of the tightest racing experiences you've ever experienced in Asphalt! 

New Linked Special Events 

Remember the British tour?  They're making a bit of a come-back with our new Linked Special Events. They will be similar in to the Special Events you're already familiar with, but these will be shorter, lasting only a week, and feature a main car and 3 support cars each. 

The trick is you'll have 4 Linked Special Events throughout the season, and each Linked Special Event's Main Car will be included as a Support Car in the following event! Check our Special Events section for more details!

• Racing Around the World: (29/5 - 26/6) Sonic and friends take the world by storm in our brand new Spotlight Event! This event will keep you on your toes, as stages will vary between Collector Mode stages and 1v1 stages. Face off against Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Shadow, Dr. Robotnick and the Chao in this Special Event featuring the SCC Ultimate Aero TT, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport, the Apex AP-0, the Nissan GTR Neon Edition, the Lamborghini Revuelto, the Donkervoort D8 GTO, and the DS E-Tense. 
• Mercedes AMG GT Black Series Linked Special Event: (29/5 - 4/6) The first of our Linked Special Events, featuring the Mercedes AMG GT Black Series, and including the Arash AF-10, the Porsche 911 50 Years Porsche Design, and the Brabham BT62 as supports. 
• Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG ONE Grand Prix: (30/5 - 15/6) Our first Grand prix this season starts things off with a bang, featuring the Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG ONE. 
• Lamborghini SC63 Linked Special Event: (5/6 - 11/6) Our next one rolls up, featuring the Lamborghini SC63, and with the Mercedes AMG GT Black Series returning as support alongside the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, and the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster. 
• Porsche 911 GT3 RS Linked Special Event: (12/6 - 18/6) The third event will feature the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, with the Lamborghini SC63 returning support alongside the Lotus Evija and the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. 
• LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie Grand Prix: (18/6 - 4/7) A new LEGO Technic car for you to build. Prove your skills in the GP to get the pieces you need. 
• Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 Linked Special Event: (19/6 - 26/6) Our final event will feature our cover star, the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, with the Porsche 911 GT3 RS returning as support alongside the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta and the Lamborghini SC20. 
• Rimac Nevera Time Attack Special Hunt: (23/6 - 7/7) We end the season with a Special Hunt featuring the Time Attack edition of the Rimac Nevera. 

Time Limited Events 

• Formula E: (28/5 - 11/6) Our first Formula E event begins alongside the Shanghai E-Prix! Race in your favorite team's colors and let's see which team fills the top 500 ranks the fastest! 
• Dragon Boat: (31/5 - 6/6) Celebrate the festival with the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and the Lamborghini Huracan STO. 
• World Environment Day: (2/6 - 8/6) Go green with the McMurtry Spéirling. 
• Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Star Hunt: (6/6 -16/6) The Star Hunt event returns another season with the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. 
• Coastal Cruising: (9/6 - 12/6) Relax with a quiet ride by the sea with the Lamborghini Aventador SV Coupe, the Porsche 911 GTS Coupe, and the McLaren Elva. 
• Endurance Showdown: (12/6 - 18/6) This one is a marathon, not a race, showcasing the Ferrari 499P Modificata. 
• Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Epic Hunt: (16/6- 26/6) All Star Hunts are followed by something epic.... hunt. Get your parts for your shiny new (or improved) Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. 
• Summer Solstice: (18/6 -28/6) Ride until the sun goes down with the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster. 
• Summer Roadtrip: (20/6 - 25/6) Time for a Roadtrip down the rolling hills of Tuscany with this trio of Ferraris: The Ferrari Roma, the Ferrari F50, and the Ferrari 488GTB. 
• Car Hunts: And of course don't miss out on this season's Car Hunts, featuring in order: the Arash AF10 (29/5-10/6), the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (5/6 - 17/6), the ATS Automobili Corsa RRTurbo (Key Hunt 12/6 - 24/6), and the Maserati MC12 (Key hunt 19/6 - 1/7).

Race Around the World: Spotlight Details 

Our new spotlight will work a bit differently this time around, as the format will be similar to a special event, but with more varied stage types and a quicker unlock! 

For starters, as each day progresses, 4 Stages will be unlocked for you to progress through, that's every 6 hours. Stages will also vary between Collector Mode stages and 1v1 Challenge stages.

Collector Mode stages will be your main way to progress, as to unlock access for stages, you'll be asked for a total ring count. This total is calculated by adding your top record of collected rings in previous Collector Mode stages. So be aware, that repeating a stage will only add to your total ring count if you're able to beat your previous top record for that stage. 

1v1 Challenge stages won't offer you progression in the event, as the goal is to beat your rival in the race and there will be no rings to collect. However, complete the challenges and you'll receive blueprints for our featured cars, allowing to unlock or improve them, allowing you to reach new records in collector stages! 

Note: The condition tracker in 1v1 stages will not count for event progression and simply allows you to keep track if you're missing out on any rewards. 

To help make things a little bit clearer, here's a full list of all available stages along including the featured car, the type of stage, and the unlock time:

As usual, completing challenges in each stage will provide you with extra rewards, including Racing Tokens, this Spotlight's currency. You'll be able to spend your Racing Tokens in the Spotlight shop as usual, which will refresh each day with new rewards. You'll also be able to spend tokens to refresh the store twice a day. 

Spotlight Pass 

To help maximize your rewards we're introducing a special Spotlight Pass for this event. By engaging with our Spotlight Event: Racing Around the World, you'll be able to progress through the Spotlight Pass milestones, unlocking rewards from both the Free and Premium track as you go. 

You'll be able to earn extra Racing Tokens, Featured Car Blueprints and Decals for the event's featured cars! 

Build Your Own Bundle 

We're bringing some updates to our store, along with a nifty new feature that will allow you to maximize your savings on things you actually need. You'll be able to "build your own bundle" by selecting which items you want to include in your very own personalized bundle. 

Multiplayer Changes

We're bringing a few changes to our rewards with the introduction of Wildcard Epic Import Parts and the end of the exlusivity period for the Mark IV. 

• The Ford GT Mark IV will be ending it's exclusivity and no longer included in milestones and ranked rewards. 
• Wildcard Epic Import parts will be added to Ranked rewards. 
• We'll be updating our MP1 filters to include the new cars we released in previous updates. Moving forward we will continue to update filters with newly released cars. 
• New cars included from previous updates to the MP car selection won't rotate during this split, so please share your thoughts on whether you prefer a more fixed selection or more regular rotations in our discord channel! 

Just as a heads up, we're hearing your feedback on the current Series Score progression and are looking into solutions already to minimize the impact lobby size has in your series score gains. We're listening and didn't have time to include it in time for the update. So stay tuned! 

Gauntlet Improvements 

We've slightly improved our car selection menus to properly display their Overclocked status. We've also fine tuned our Divisions to help provide a tighter matchmaking experience overall. Please note, that due to this, some players may notice a change in their current Division. 

Car Balancing - Checrolet Corvette C7R Buff 

The C7R seemed to be slightly underperforming for its rank, particularly at stock. To help improve it's performance, particularly in MP, we'll be making the following changes: Increase to Nitro at Stock. Increase to Handling at Stock. 

Fixed 90 FPS option for Android 

We resolved the 90FPS issue and should now only appear for devices who can support it. We also added 80/96 fps options on displays which support 80/96hz instead of 90hz Note: The in-game fps can vary depending on your device (as some device settings can control the refresh rate so fps can be capped at 60). 

Other Fixes 

• The game will launch in "Quality Mode" for new users by default on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. 
• New to the PlayStation 5's Control Center, you'll now be able to enjoy Asphalt's soundtrack while navigating the game's menus.
