A new type of events have arrived featuring a fun new game mode and an ever-updating reward shop, allowing you to pick and choose your own rewards! 

Found in the Special Events section, selecting the active spotlight will allow you to navigate directly into the event or go browse what current rewards are for sale. 

Collector Game Mode 

Most spotlights will include a variation of our new Collector mode, tasking you with obtaining themed collectibles for each event, in order to complete challenges and earn rewards. 

We’re also adding a bit of extra spice to the mix as we will be changing the featured track regularly! For our first event, the Easter Eggstravaganza, you can expect a new track each workday, to add some variety to your egg hunts. We’ll continue to work on this feature as our pland for future events is for the track to change each run! 

Completing the challenges for each track will award you with that Spotlight’s tokens (for example Easter tokens) which you will be able to exchange in the Spotlight Shop. 

Spotlight Shop 

To add more variety and allow our legends to choose the rewards they prefer, we’re introducing a new Spotlight Shop to our events! 

Here you will be able to spend your hard-earned Spotlight tokens for rewards, such as Blueprints and Upgrade parts for the event’s featured cars. You’ll also be able to exchange Credits and Trade Tokens (yes, you heard it right) for Spotlight tokens and even claim some free Spotlight tokens! Note that each exchange of Credits or Trade Tokens will make the following exchange increase in price.

The Spotlight Shop will also refresh it’s offering every 8 hours, offering new deals to take advantage of. It will also refresh the Spotlight Token exchanges, providing you with a new free gift and resetting the price for credits and trade tokens. You’ll also be able to refresh the store with tokens if you wish to save some time. 

And remember to spend your Spotlight Tokens before the end of the event! Spotlight Tokens will automatically convert to credits once the event ends, giving you 10 Credits for each Spotlight Token remaining. 

Note that each refresh will be unique to each player, so don’t expect to get the same deals as your friends. 

And that’s our Spotlight events in a nutshell! You can expect a new spotlight event each Season, and we’re already working on a few exciting collabs to shed a spotlight on in the future, so stay tuned!
